Coffee Roots

This coffee was grown by Jairo Arcila at the farm Santa Monica. This coffee was carefully hand-picked in order to select only the ripest cherries and then hand sorted to remove any defects. The coffee was sundried on raised beds in temperature controlled conditions until the ideal moisture content is achieved.

This micro-lot is 100% Rume Sudan. A rare Sudanese coffee found in the high plateaus of Sudan. It is resistant to diseases, Its yield is medium and the beans are large and long.

Colombia Sudan Rume earned a bronze medal competing against top coffee roasters from around the world. All coffees were judged blind by worldwide coffee industry professionals and roasters in categories such Espresso, Milk and Filter beverages with medals awarded in 11 award categories.
