Hario V60

  1. Preheat cup/equipment, fold seam of filter and pre wet. Discard rinse
    water.
  2. Weigh out 24-26 grams of coffee and grind at fine setting. Place in
    filter evenly. Tare scale.
  3. Bloom coffee with 30-50 grams of water for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour 100-150 grams of water in a circle motion around the center
  5. As water level drops, gradually add more water in a circular motion, avoiding the side of the V60
  6. Finish with a total of 400
    grams of water
  7. Pull and discard filter
    when drips slow. Mix and serve coffee. 
  8. Clean area and rinse
    equipment.

Chemex

  1. Preheat cup and Chemex, place 3-ply side of filter against spout and pre wet. Discard rinse water. 
  2. Measure 25-27g of medium/course ground coffee in filter evenly.
  3. Tare scale and add 30-35g water to bloom the coffee.
  4. After 30 seconds, proceed with first pour (up to ¼ inch from the rim)
  5. Observe the extraction and continue to pour more water before the coffee is exposed.
  6. Repeat the process to 400g of water. 
  7. Remove filter, stir, &serve.
  8. Clean area and rinse equipment.

French Press

  1. Preheat cup and French Press. Discard rinse water. 
  2. Add 25g of coarsely ground coffee for every 400g of water.
  3. Pour water over the coffee grounds, stopping when all grounds are wet.
  4. Stir the coffee bloom to ensure all grounds are saturated.
  5. Pour remaining amount of water over the wet grounds and cover with plunger and lid. 
  6. Let the mixture sit for 3-4 minutes, then plunge slowly. 
  7. Pour and serve.
  8. Clean area and rinse equipment.

  1. Preheat cup/equipment, place filter evenly in Wave and pre-wet. Discard rinse water. 
  2. Weigh out 24-26 grams of coffee and grind at medium setting. Place in filter evenly. Tare scale. 
  3. Bloom coffee with 30-50 grams of water for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour 100-150 grams of water in a circle motion around the center.
  5. As water level drops, gradually add more water in a circular motion, avoiding the sides of the Wave.
  6. Finish with a total of 400 grams of water.
  7. Pull and discard filter when drips slow. Swirl and serve coffee.
