Coffee Roots

While visiting Antigua Guatemala we had the good fortune to meet Mario Rodas and his family. Mario’s family was one of the first families to grow coffee in Guatemala in the 1840's. The coffee farm in the heart of Antigua has been in the family for generations. When Mario became involved, they built a world class micro mill and cupping facility. Their love and investment stands as a shrine to coffee. In an ideal world, all coffee and coffee growers would live in a similar setting. Since 2016, we have been proud to support their efforts and privileged to have been afforded the opportunity to procure the majority of his harvest each year.
