CRIMSON Expands to Second Shop with New Campus-Area Location

Columbus, Ohio (April 1, 2024) – CRIMSON Coffee and Tea is expanding its popular brand with a new campus location

The new CRIMSON is approximately 750 square feet and sits on 64 W. Lane Avenue. It features skylights and a beautiful two-story window to allow for lots of natural light to create a welcoming environment and elevate the coffee drinking experience. In addition, there will be shared comfortable space with the newly renovated Newman Center. The coffee shop can be accessed from Lane Avenue and there is a large free parking lot behind the building where guests can park.

Similar to its CRIMSON at Easton Town Center, this location will feature its award-winning coffees and teas, along with its popular rotating seasonal drink menu highlighting its in-house crafted syrups, unique pour-overs, espressos and tea selections. The new CRIMSON location will also offer food items including breakfast sandwiches and locally sourced baked goods, plus several new items in development.

“With the rising popularity of our CRIMSON Easton Town Center location, we knew there was a coffee enthusiast population who loved the CRIMSON experience and we wanted to share that with a wider audience,” said Greg Ubert, Founder and CEO of CRIMSON Coffee and Tea. “We also have a lot of university students who frequent CRIMSON at Easton Town Center for this unique and elevated coffee drinking experience. When this expansion opportunity presented itself, we had to take it.”

CRIMSON plans to open its doors “mid to late April” and the hours will be 7:00am – 7:00pm. Please check for the official opening date and updated hours.

From the small-plot coffee farmers from whom we source to the coffee lovers we serve, bridging communities has been at the heart of what we do for 30 years. We’ve traveled the globe—by plane, boat, bus, jeep, foot, and even mule—to discover exceptional coffee and cultivate long-lasting relationships with the hard-working farmers who grow it. Through our unique Friend2Farmer initiative, we invest in life-enriching projects that promote education, health, sustainability, and economic growth for coffee farming communities. Coffee is much more than an enjoyable beverage—it’s a collaborative experience where every participant is vital, from the grower to the roaster to the barista to the drinker. Each one has a lasting impact on the economic growth of coffee growing communities in Ethiopia, Kenya, Guatemala, Honduras, Peru and beyond. For more information:
