BIFTU GUDINA ETHIOPIA
Light Roast - Tasting Notes: Black Tea, Red Apple
Heirloom including Native Variety 1274
1,800 - 2,100 MASL
For this fully-washed lot, the Biftu Gudina Cooperative uses all the right tools.
Biftu Gudina was established in 2012, and is one of the best representations of what five years of cooperation between Technoserve staff and member farmers can do. The Co-op now processes with an eco-pulper, full-immersion soak, and raised-bed drying. It’s an art and a science over there, resulting in a super complex, sweet and juicy cup.
