Another amazing coffee from our friend Hector Portocarrero Perez, this gesha is from the same farm and area as the Natural Gesha we’ve had the opportunity to purchase over the last few years. This coffee is picked when perfectly ripe, then fermented and washed of the fruit. This process method is more traditional and has been done for generations in this region of Peru. The coffee presents some of the familiar floral notes we’ve become accustomed to from the Natural Gesha, but is far more tea-like, with notes of stonefruit and oolong. The familiarity and contrast between the two coffees from Hector are sure to leave you longing for another cup.
